Benjamin Cooksey Obituary

Passed away in Santa Rosa, CA on July 15, 2011. Dearly beloved father of Dennis Cooksey and his wife Linda, Michael Cooksey and Rene Labat; adored grandfather of Keith, Julie, Alexandra, Kendall, Victoria, Heather, Michael, Josh, Tamara, Tiffany, Mariah and Brandon; great grandfather of Olivia, Conrad, Drue, Cameron, Madison, Allie; preceded in death by his daughter Brenda Walker; also survived by his nieces Sharon and Roberta; and his companion Frances McDivitt. A native of Arkansas, age 92 years, 41 year resident and businessman in Sonoma County. Veteran of World War II in the Army Air Corp. in Europe. He attained the rank of E-8 in charge of the Squadron Mess Hall. Friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Roses, 1225 Sonoma Ave, Santa Rosa. Inurment at Sierra Memorial Gardens, Grass Valley, CA.
