Constance J. Good

GOOD, Constance J. - Passed away Sunday, March 30, 2008 at home in Sebastopol. Survived by her beloved husband, Marvin H. Good, Col., of Sebastopol, her daughters, Sally (Bob) Parks and Terry Good both of Sebastopol and the late Patricia Good. Grandmother of Adam Parks, Erik Parks, Michael Parks and Robert Kneisley. Jeanne became an airline pilot at 21, that interested her husband to learn to fly in the Army Air Corps. Thus began a 31 year career as an Air Force family, moving over 40 times all over the world. She was the consummate officer's wife being involved in Family Services, CHAP and the many duties of a commander's wife. Jeanne was most proud of being awarded the 28th Air Division Woman of the Year as well as being a finalist in the Lane Bryant Award. She was given these as an award for establishing one of the very few workshops in the country for developmentally disabled teens and adults in the late 1950's. Upon retirement she and her husband ran Good's Holiday Christmas Tree Ranch, now called the Victorian Christmas Tree Ranch in Sebastopol, serving customers for over 37 years. She was very involved in PEO since 1972 in various aspects. She aslo was a member of the California Christmas Tree Growers, Farm Trails and Sonoma County Farm Bureau. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service Monday, April 7, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Rosa Memorial Park. Reverend Gene Nelson officiating.
