Jurnie Green Obituary
Jurnie was preceded in death by: her grandfather, Emanuel Scott and great-grandparents, William Batts, Lloyd Jones, and Harold Scott.
Little Miss Jurnie was born Sept. 11, 2013, to a loving and caring mother and father, Son'ja Carter and Emanuel Green, both of Hopewell; loving grandmothers, Sabrina Ferrell (Garrick) of Charles City, and Patricia Green of Hopewell; loving grandfather, Lloyd Jones Jr. (Charlene) of Charles City; great-grandparents, Jean Carter, Kermit Carter (Edmonia), Willie Jane Johnson (Linburgh Jr.), Josie Jones of Charles City, Essie Thorpe (Floyd) of Prince George, and Betsy Scott of Petersburg; aunts, Lora Jones, Tammy and Markesha Hampton, Javonne and Jenell Carter, all of Charles City, and Aboni Green of Hopewell; uncles, Tyrone Green of Hopewell, Christopher Jones, Lloyd and Datwain Carter, all of Charles City; devoted godparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Hampton and Shareka Wyche, all of Charles City; and a host of great-aunts; uncles; and cousins.
Services for Baby Jurnie E. Green will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at the Chapel of J.M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment Inc., 102 South Ave., Petersburg, the Rev. Joshua N. King Sr., eulogist.
The interment to be held at Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery.
The family will assemble at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral establishment, the day of the services. Family members and friends are invited to pay final tribute to baby Green and watch the funeral services live online at www.jmwilkersonsince1874.com.

God gives us the grace of blessing us to nuture and love our children which starts upon creation. Baby Juju had family that loved her upon creation and knowledge. I'm so sorry for the loss the family is having to endure. She will forever be missed because of her presence. May she R.I.P. For she is embraced with angelic wings.
