Anna Oliveira Obituary

OLIVEIRA, ANNA M. (CASTRO) of Rosemere Drive, East Providence, and formerly of Pawtucket died on July 16, 2014. She was born in East Providence, RI a daughter to the late Anthony and Josephine (Rose) Castro. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Oliveira. She was an office worker for Homestead Bakery for twenty years. After retiring, she worked as a teacher's aide for the East Providence School Department. She was a member of the Prince Henry Club and also a member of the Sacred Heart Church for over forty-four years. She is survived by her daughter, Joanne Needham of Pawtucket, a brother Joseph Castro and his wife Carla of East Providence, three grandsons, Paul Needham of Attleboro, MA, Thomas Needham of Glocester, RI, and Timothy Needham of Pawtucket, RI and eleven great-grandchildren. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Oliveira Saturday, July 19th at St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Calling hours will be prior to the Mass starting at 10:00 AM also in St. Teresa's Church. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Anna's name to Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02903.
