One of my favorite topics post retirement is military history. My conversations with Bill got me started on that.

I still remember Bill, and his autobiographical stories that would have made an entertaining book for all to share.

Bill had a real gift for storytelling, and his autobiographical accounts of his youth and early military service in the Navy are priceless memories.

As a research psychologist with the Army, i was a close friend and colleague of Bill's for over 20 years. We kept in touch after Bill's retirement and had many conversations by telephone, mostly on military history, his favorite topic. I am deeply saddened at the news of Bill's passing.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dr Bill whom I worked with for many years in the PA National Guard and at Dunham Army Health Clinic, Carlisle Barracks. He was always a power house of information and resourcefulness for us and sincerely willing to help our military personnel in any way possible. He mentored many behavioral health personnel and certainly left his mark in contributions to military medicine. My condolences to his family whom he spoke about often with great love! May he rest in peace and may you his family draw comfort from loving memories.
