Laurence Rose Obituary
Larry was born on May 6, 1929, in Bradford, a son of the late Clifton A. Rose and Dorothea (Huston) Rose.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda R. Shultz; one son, Randy L. Shultz; and two brothers, Clifton and Paul Rose.
Larry attended the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Local No. 5 Pittsburgh Electrical I.B.E.W., where he worked for 25 years. His hobbies were golfing and woodworking.
Most of all, his greatest enjoyment was his family. Larry was a devoted and loving family man who adored time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Virginia ""Ginny"" (Reed) Rose of Punxsutawney; two sons, Ricky P. Shultz and wife Josephine of Plumville, and Russell J. Shultz and wife Alice of Punxsutawney; five grandchildren, Nicholas Shultz, Joshua Greek, Adam Shultz, Emylee Shultz and Jacob Shultz; and six great-grandchildren, Kai, Kale, Vanessa and Addyson Shultz, Ryleigh and Hayes Greek. Also surviving are his sister, Helen Stayer and husband Joe of Olean, New York, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at the funeral home, with Pastor Russ Crouthamel officiating.

Aunt Ginny, So sorry that we were not able to be with you. Will miss Uncle Laurence. He was an awesome uncle! Spent many summer vacations with him and enjoyed stopping at your house on our way to Aunt Helen's house in the Fall. God be with you in this sorrowful time! Hope to see you soon! Love and prayers!
