Al Smith Obituary

AL SMITH Al Smith, born Alvin Freemond Smith, on July 13, 1948, in Los Angeles, Calif., and resident of Pahrump, Nev. since 1988, took his journey to Heaven Friday, August 22, 2014, after a five month battle with cancer. He attended Basic High School in Henderson, Nev., and was a Vietnam Veteran from 1969-1971. He was a very loved and talented man with the gift to make people laugh. His passion was for old cars. He will be forever missed and loved by those who survive him: his wife Sonja Lee Smith, son Alvin F. Smith, his wife Andrea Gallagher, and their 6 children; daughter Julie Peterson, her husband Chad Peterson, and their 5 children. His life loves were his family and spending quality time with his dogs, family, and friends.
