Harry Stebbings Obituary

STEBBINGS, Capt., Harry Eugene USN Ret. Died in Santa Rosa, January 18, 2002. Loving husband of Lorraine Hopson Stebbings of Santa Rosa. Loving father of Barrie Stebbings of Bolinas, CA and Dr. Gwen Rigby of Santa Barbara. Beloved grandfather of Dr. Mark Rigby and Lisa Clarke. Great grandfather of Cheyenne Clarke. Also survived by 5 step children and 10 step grandchildren. A native of Park Ridge, IL. Age 86 years. A member of the Retired Officers Assn., founder of the Redwood Empire Rose Society, Mens Garden Club, the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation, Santa Rosa Luther Burbank Lodge #57 F.&A.M., Aahmes Shrine Temple, a graduate of Northwestern University and a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. A veteran of World War II and Korea, US Navy. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday, January 23, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation, 550 Mendocino Ave. Father Ed Howell officiating. Friends may pay their respects at the EGGEN & LANCE MORTUARY on Tuesday, January 22, 2002 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday between 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, at 2:30 p.m. at the Veterans Lawn Section of Santa Rosa Memorial Park.
