William H. Hess

William H. Hess, 91, passed away July 10, 2023, in his Wyomissing residence. He was the beloved husband of Fannie (Concordia) Hess, with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage before her passing in 2012. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Clarence and Irene (Gross) Hess. He is survived by his two children, William H., husband of Robin Hess, Lower Alsace Twp., and Donna M. Hess, Exeter Twp. He is also survived by his sister, Myrtle Hess, Reading, in-laws, Salvatore and Ann Concordia, the pride and joy of his life, his grandchildren, Mia, William, and Celia Hess, and all of his nieces and nephews. William was predeceased by his seven siblings, Earl, Rodney, Ralph, Clarence, Louise, Betty and Marie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611.
