Priscilla Gibson Obituary
Walden, NY
Priscilla entered into rest on Monday, December 1, 2008, at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, Manhattan, NY. She was 32.
On August 10, 1976, she was born in Manhattan, NY to Carlexter and Reba Castleberry Gibson. Both parents predeceased their daughter. She was an area resident most of her life having moved here from Manhattan and having recently lived in Lakeland, FL for seven years.
Lakeland Regional Medical Center, Lakeland, FL, employed Priscilla as a medical insurance specialist.
Survivors include her loving husband, Frank Tangredi, III, at home; one daughter, Qiana Lyn Tangredi, ten years old, at home; one son, Giovanni Joseph Tangredi, eight years old, at home; their grandparents, Frank Tangredi and Madeline Sorrentino; one brother, Omar Gibson; two sisters, Lakisha Gibson and Maritza Gibson, Raquel Brown; her cousin, Farris McCrimmon and his wife, Lynis; several nieces and nephews.
Priscilla was raised by her mother, Reba Gibson and her aunt, Vanessa Campbell.
She was a born fighter. This ability served her well as she recently, valiantly battled liver cancer. Priscilla was a thoughtful, caring, devoted, loving mother to Qiana and Giovanni. She always helped them with their homework and school projects. She had a great work ethic, which began in her teen years.
Priscilla was in great spirits the night before her passing.
Visitation for family and friends will be offered today, Wednesday, December 3, at the Engel Funeral Home, Inc., 5319 Route 9W, Newburgh (Middlehope), NY between 4 and 7 p.m.
On Thursday, December 4, family and friends will gather for a visitation at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Ann and Mills Streets, Newburgh, NY between 10 and 11 a.m. At 11 a.m., services will begin with the Rev. Coleman Briggs officiating.
Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh, NY.
Priscilla's family would appreciate that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to them to assist with the numerous expenses brought on by her failing health over the recent months.

Frankie, Qianna, Giovanni and Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of one of the most wonderful women this world has ever known! What an inspiration Prissy was to me. I will always remember the advice she used to give me and all the long talks we had! She really loved you Frankie and her babies more than life! You all are all she talked about!
