Albert Fleck
Naugatuck - It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Albert F. Fleck on Saturday May 10, 2025. He was the husband of Katie C. Fleck of Naugatuck, the love of his life for 49 years.
Mr. Fleck was born on February 24, 1944 in Waterbury to Frederick and Ann (Edmondson) Fleck. He attended schools in Oxford and Southbury. Albert joined the Army in 1961, proudly serving in Vietnam. Upon his discharge, he worked as a plumber for Greco and Haines Water for several years. He then worked for the Seymour Board of Education until his retirement in 2007.
Besides his wife, Albert is survived by his siblings, Elaine (Clay) Reed of Chandler, AZ and James (Mary) Fleck of Knoxville, TN.
He is also survived by his children, Skeeter (Kelly) Swenor of West Rutland, VT, Darcie (Dan) Martineau of Warren, Darice (Bill) Morrissey, Jamie Sue Swenor, Wesley Swenor and Twyla Hanna, all of Naugatuck and Thawn Swenor of East Haven.
He also leaves behind several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Albert was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Fleck, 3 daughters, Valerie (Chuck) Dixon, Deanna Kollar, and Tia Fleck and 3 grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11 a.m. at St. Vincent Ferrer Roman Catholic Church, 1006 New Haven Road, Naugatuck. Relatives and friends are asked to please meet directly at the church. Full Army Honors will be presented at the church immediately following Mass. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
