Mary Medlen Obituary
Mary was a graduate of St Mary of Loretta High School, Class of 1948; a founding member of St Paul Lutheran Church; and retired from the State of Alabama.
Mary's family would like to thank her doctors, Hospice staff (Keelie), and all of her caregivers. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St Paul or American Cancer Society. Ellison Funeral Home directing.

I have just learned, sadly of Mary's passing. I worked with Mary for many years at DIR, but considered her a very dear friend. She will be missed greatly. Mary was a sweet soul and a very loving mother, as well as a wonderful, dear friend. My sincere condolences to all of her family.

TO The family I offer my deepest condolence I worked across the hall from Mary(@the time it was DIR now DOL) and time and again after retiring I would see her out and about we would catch up on former co workers and family. She was also a person I Thought had a keen sense of humor and could make me laugh whenever i saw her.May She RIP

Dear Medlen family, I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Medlen's passing. I remember her well as a young girl at St. Paul. Between the Medlen's, Holman's & Twiss'...we filled up most of the Church! I will remember her fondly as a sweet soul. My thoughts are with you all. Becky Holman Pierce

I was so saddened to read just now of Mary's passing. I have so many happy memories of working with Mary at Industrial Relations. She was a combination big sister and other mother to those of us who were younger. I loved her very much. May happy memories help to comfort you in this difficult time. God bless each of you. Lisa
