Robert ST. CLAIR Obituary

Robert Wayne St.Clair, 70, of Vinton, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 3, 2013. He retired from Overnite Transportation and also worked for Virginia Truck Center until his health no longer allowed him. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed camping, racing, fishing and any outdoor family activity. He and his wife enjoyed traveling and the Great Smokey Mountains. He was a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy L. St.Clair; and his parents, Sam and Ruby St.Clair. He is survived by four daughters, Lisa Hacker and husband, Steve, Tammy Hamblin and husband, Kenny, Wanda Arfan and husband, Eido, and Sandra Donahue; nine grandchildren, Michael and Allen Stover, Mattie Wagner, Kenny and Ronnie Hamblin, Kevin, David and Brandy Blankenship, Elizabeth Strickland; nine great- grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Hosey and husband, Clarence; two sisters-in-law, Juanita Spence and husband, Butch, and Betty Brizendine; and three brothers-in-law, Warren and George Brizendine, and James Morris.
The family would also like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice Staff for all their support during this trying time.
The family will receive visitors and friends on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Oakey's East Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Oakey's East Chapel with Pastor Elmer Clemons officiating. Interment will follow in Daleville Cemetery.
