Velma Frances Robertson, age 76, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023. She was born on May 9, 1947, and was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Summitt; and mother, Anna Argarbright. Surviving are her husband, Sanford Robertson; daughter, Carol Hatjes; grandchildren, Hunter Athey and Ryker Hatjes; numerous other family and friends.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Franklin Memorial Park with the Rev. Joe Dillon officiating. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
