Yolanda Scott Obituary
Yolanda Cherie Scott, of Rockford departed this earthly life Tuesday, June 27, 2017. She was born January 13, 1972, in Rockford; the daughter of Otis and Lillie Scott. Yolanda was self-employed in childcare. She was a member of Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church. She graduated from West High School class of 1990. Yolanda leaves to cherish many loving memories, three daughters, Antavia, Anessia and Raven McGee; two grandchildren, Ka'Marion and A'Zaya; father, Otis (Florence) Scott; brother, Jeffery Scott; a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her mother, and brother, Leonard Scott.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church, 3000 Rural Street. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home, 2429 W. State Street.
