Dennis Messier Obituary

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ada Messier, as well as his sister Diane and his brother Dale. He is survived by his sisters Dorothy, Dina, Dawn, and Debra, as well as his brothers Douglas and David. He leaves behind countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. A hard working man, Dennis maintained a career with the City of Sacramento Water & Sewer Department for 30 years until his retirement. No service will be held at his own request although a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. His friends should know that Dennis left this world, comfortable in a warm bed surrounded by those who loved and cared for him. He will be missed by his loved ones and even more by the man who sold the good stuff. Dennis Leon Messier has gone off to see the wizard one last time. Rest in Peace Uncle D.

I remember countless enjoyable nights spent with Dennis when he was married to Rosemary. He was a gentle soul. May God receive you into His loving arms and may you rest in eternal peace, Dennis.

My sincere condolences to your family. May God "who comforts us in all our trials" (2 Cor 1:4) comfort you and your family at such a difficult time. I know God will help you to endure because he cares for you (1Peter 5 :7).
