June 11, 1932 - March 1, 2023
Carmichael , California - Daughter of the late Howard and Catherine Rice. Preceded in death by her brother Robert Casey Rice, husband Harry A. Freidenfelt Sr., children Kim, Mark, Lynette, Elaine Grech, Tommy and great-granddaughter Katie Freidenfelt. Survived by son, Harry Jr. and daughter, Barbara and husband John Cilia. She moved from Denver, CO to Sacramento, California at the age of 19 where she married and had 7 children, 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Loving grandma to so many; She will forever be known as "Mama Fryed" the matriarch of the Fryed Family. Celebration of Life April 6th, 2:00 PM at the Elks Lodge 5631 Cypress Ave. Carmichael, CA 95608. In lieu of flowers donate to your favorite charity.

I can´t believe it´s been a year since you passed. I go to your gravesite often but I am sure you know I miss you more each day. Life is so lonely and boring with you gone. Just when I think I can get it together as you also know I get side tracked even called you a few times??? I drove by your house yesterday still brings tears to my eyes. I sure miss the good old days. Tori sent me a picture I will add to this note. Tomorrow is Tommy´s first birthday I will give him extra hugs and kisses for you. I miss you and love you your always in my heart.

Happy heavenly birthday to my best friend and hero. I know you´re happy spending it with family. I miss you so much. I went to graveyard and it looks pretty Tori &Dan put beautiful flowers on it. If Tori didn´t answer her phone and literally walk me to I would have never found you!!! But I did and I am glad. I went to cedar room had a high ball for your birthday it wasn´t the same with out you on the bar stool next to me. You are missed by so many your memories will truly last forever. So again Happy heavenly birthday my friend until we meet again. I love you

Larry and I send our love and sympathies to the entire Fryed clan.
Mama Fryed was always so kind to me. She would go out of her way to take your hand or hug you and say hi. As me and my kids became dear friends with Tommy, Mama Fryed embraced us as family and because she did, the whole family did too. I am so thankful for knowing her.
What a life she led! A strong and proud woman yet one of the kindest souls you would ever meet.
I take comfort knowing she is with so many loved ones. Please give them all a hug for me. You will never be forgotten. You will forever be missed.

I wish I could have met you, Geraldine. You were my grandfather´s niece and mothers cousin. They have both long passed. I believe you are reunited with those you loved, and running free as a young girl. I hope one of these days I get to meet Harry and Barb.

I met Gerry through Tommy at an anniversary party, we got into talking and i would visit her alot because she lived close, i found out she and my mom were 5 months apart in age and went to the same church, well my Mom had broke her tail bone and couldn't go to a show Battle of the bands Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey, so my mom suggested Gerry. So my boyfriend Tim and I picked her and went and went out to dinner after. On the way home I asked her. if she enjoyed the show, she said it brought back alot memories of her special times with my husband. I said is that why? i thought you were bored because you looked like you were sleeping.. she said she was kicking back remembering all the dancing and memories. I was so happy she enjoyed that, I even got her a ticket for this years concert. I know she will be dancing in heven with Harry! She did so much for everyone. she has touched so many lives. You were a special lady and will be remembered and missed . Rip Gerry

Love you so much- Harry & Barb: You shared your mother´s blood from the start. The first blood that courses through you is hers. The beat of your heart is hers from your beginning. When God gave you the breath of life she heard your first cries. She brought you here not to live in grief, but to see yourself through her eyes. She is proud of you. A good man/woman , husband/wife, father/mother and friend in that order of existence. When a great loves passes through, are lives they are never the same nor should they be the same. Their love changed us. Yes as well as their death. We will never be "ok" or the "same again". My friends our lives are "different " and we adjust and shift gears because we must. The alternative is to forsake those still here in our care. Your mom my Ron will forever be with us. Thats the promise and hope of the Easter season is he is risen. Our savior lives, as do the souls of our loved ones for Jesus conquered death, for us. As a child I said "I will love you till the day YOU die" as an adult we learn "I will love YOU till the day I die" the gift of Easter is: "I will love YOU for eternity" May you both experience Holy Mother´s peace in our hearts this Easter. Sent with love from a broken heart that still beats. My Easter wish for you is all the peace and comfort you brought to me may almighty God give back to you 10 times on his angels wings. You can´t out give God. I love you.

I will never be able to express what a impact you made on my life . You changed me for the better just by being so loving and loyal . You never judged me or made me feel bad about the things I´d tell you .. You always listened and never passed judgement and you always kept my secrets safe . You were always so modest and didn´t want to be praised but you truly are the most amazing Mother , Grandma & friend anyone could ask for. You left a mark on everyone you met . I hope only to pass on the kind of Iove you showed me everyday to my son .. I just know you kissed him as he entered the world ... I will make sure he knows all about you .. we love you so much ..

Thank you Geri for the 26 years you were in our life´s. Walking around feeling like a shell of a person. You were my best friend and the only real hero I ever met. I thank you for being there always for me. I remember the plans we made then laughed knowing we would never do 1/2 of them. But we talked the talk!! Lol my life will never be the same and I´m trying to honor you as you wished. My life will never be the same. I love you p.s. say hi to my Nicholas for me
