We've heard it said that death leaves a heartache no one can heal, yet we know, too, that love leaves a memory no one can steal.

Thinking of all the Crudo clan in friendship and in sympathy.

Sending all my love and condolences to the Crudo family and all of Rich's family and friends. I only met him one time, but I remember him very clearly in mind. If a man can be judged by the character and honor of the children he leaves behind, then Rich was a good man, a lucky man, a proud father. Taken too soon but waiting in timeless peace for the day the chain will be complete again.

I grew up with Dick. We both lived on the same street. I think I was five of six years old when he and his family moved onto our street. Dick was new to the neighborhood and wanted to make friends quickly. So he invited all of us to come over to his house and he brought out his toy box and told us to take any thing we wanted, so we did. Our parents made us give everything back. That was my introduction to Dick. He was my best friend throughout my childhood. Dick's high school life went a little south. He ended up dropping out of school. He told me he regreted this. After high school and he left for the war in Viet Nam, we lost touch and I really never talked to him as the friends we were, that was my loss. I was always going to go see him at the Trap once I heard he was running it but just didn't find the time. One day I was with my wife and we were driving in Greenhaven, I called Mike another member of OUR crew and asked him where exactly the Trap was at and that day I was able to have my childhood friend meet my wife, I got that one right. There is a movie that I would invite any one who reads this to watch and that is Rob Reiner's "Stand By Me". That is a movie about my friend and I. That movie ends with this line, " I never and another friend like that, but hell who does". John E.

To the Crudo family, may your heart and soul find peace and comfort. Although words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel about the loss of your dad, we are here to support you in your time of grieving. Your dad will be greatly missed, but I know he is with our dad having a few beers, while they watch over us. Our sincere sympathy.
