Chuck was one of my first bosses out of High School and hired me because he knew my uncle in Bountiful. I still remember the look on his face and his impish grin when he heard that first swear word come out of my mouth and realizing I was nothing like my LDS uncle. The crew we had back then was nothing short of amazing and he was the glue that held all the various ages and personalities together. I remember him and the other pharmacists gathered in his office for their daily lunches and playing a game of Hearts to pass the time while they talked. Still brings a smile to my face thinking of Bob Lewis losing a hand to him and him not being able to get away from the smiling and chuckling Chuck fast enough and back to work. Everyone should have a boss like him during their career. You will be missed my friend....

Chuck was such a nice man. His Dept was next to mine and we worked together to care for our patients at st marks. Bob and his crew who worked for chuck played a mean game of hearts at lunch time. Lots of memories of a fine fellow

So many wonderful memories of Uncle Charles. Charles and Jerri came to visit us in Arizona when they were in Quartzite, AZ. Our family always looked forward to seeing them. Marv loved “deer camping” and the fun they had. He will definitely be missed.

Chuck was a mentor and friend who taught me how to be a pharmacist. He was a kind and happy man. Chuck liked people and doing good deeds for others. Long after we both retired he continued to call me every year on my birthday to catch up and wish me well. What a guy!

Chuck was a kind (and looking back, an oh so tolerant) boss.
