Robert Reinkoester Obituary

Our beloved father, grandfather, and brother, Robert William Reinkoester passed away January 15, 2013 in South Jordan, UT. He was born October 6, 1915 in Cleveland, OH to Herman and Dora Broker Reinkoester. He married Betty Wightman February 13, 1944 in Port Clinton, OH.
Robert was proud of his service in the Army during WWII as an M.P. He was an active member of the St. Matthews Lutheran Church. Robert enjoyed his long association with young men as a Scout Master in the B.S.A. He is survived by his son, Robert Jr. (Linda); niece, Linda (Duane) Rowberry; grandchildren, Andrew (Sarah) Reinkoester and Erin (Josh) Huber; great grandchildren, Peter, Ethan. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Betty; brother, Ralph, sister, Marim.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of the Lodge for their loving, tender care of Robert.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon Monday, January 21, 2013 at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., Magna, where friends and family may call Tuesday 11-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Graveside services Friday, January 25, 2013 1 p.m. at the Riverview Cemetery in Port Clinton, OH. Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
