Delia Shahan Obituary
Delia F. Shahan born on November 6, 1930 in San Antonio, Texas entered into rest on July 19, 2012 at the age of 81 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Shahan Sr. She is survived by her daughter Beatrice De La Pena; son, Edward L. Shahan Jr.; grandchildren, Christopher Lee Shahan, Michael David Shahan, Edward Louis Shahan III, Candice Brook Shahan; great grandchild, Beveny Ann Shahan; sisters, Gloria Sarabia, Mary Fuentes, Solia Fuentes; brothers, Florencio Fuentes, Juan Manuel Fuentes; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Alamo Funeral Chapels with a rosary to be held that evening at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Alamo Funeral Chapels with the interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. O Lord our God please send your angels to guide our beloved Delia to your heavily home, where she may find a home full of love in the company of her dearly departed friends and family. A place where she will find happiness, love, and rest in the peace of your holy light.
