Julia Lopez Obituary
Julia L. Lopez, 83, born on August 17, 1925 in Bracken, TX passed into peace on June 29, 2009. Julia was a member of the Guadalupanas & Spanish Choir at St. Anthony De Padua Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Martina Lopez; brother, Ramon; sisters, Maria, Andrea and Antonia. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Bonifacio Lopez Sr.; her sons, Bonifacio Jr. and wife Rose, Carlos and Richard; her daughter, Elsa and husband Santos Alvarado, 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and sister, Brigida Canales. Visitation will be held from 6-9:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm on Wednesday~July 1, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:30 pm on Thursday~July 2, 2009 at St. Anthony De Padua Catholic Church, 102 Lorenz, SATX 78209. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
