Paul Wendland Obituary

WENDLAND
Paul Thomas Wendland, Jr. passed away on February 26, 2014 after a brief illness. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on September 5, 1941 to Paul and Marie Wendland of Violet, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and three of his sisters: Mary Blanche Wilkerson, Margie Conway and Peggy Biddy. He is survived by his wife, Linda; his son, Paul T. Wendland, III; his daughter, Rochelle Nash; and two granddaughters Nicole and Jordan. His is also survived by his step daughters Nichole and Michelle, her husband Blas, and their four children, Brody, Bryce, Brayden and Brenna. His siblings Henry Wendland and Joann McCormack also survive him.
He loved his time with family, cooking and being outdoors working with his horses on his ranch. As well as being part of the annual trail rides, he supported, and proudly served with the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo until his recent illness.
Tom started his Insurance Claims career with GAB in New Mexico. In 1968 he joined USAA in San Antonio from where he retired in 2001.
A Memorial Mass and Celebration of Tom's life will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014, at 9:30 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 8500 Cross Mountain Trail, Leon Springs, Texas.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that you send a donation to Triple H Equitherapy in Pipe Creek, Texas.
