Janet Miller

Janet Miller Janet Miller, 47, passed away April 20, 2015, in a house fire. A longtime and much- loved resident of San Luis Obispo, she was the only child of John G. H. and Elin Suvari Miller, her father from South Africa and her mother a concentration camp survivor from Estonia. She graduated from both San Luis Obispo High School and Cal Poly State University, taking jobs locally and caring for both parents until their deaths. In recent years, Janet's own health began to decline and she faced financial difficulties. With no family and no close relatives, Janet lived a reclusive life in her childhood home with her beloved pets. We, her neighbors and friends, invite all who knew Janet to a Celebration of her Life on May 14, 2015, at 11:00am at Mountainbrook Community Church, 1775 Calle Joaquin in San Luis Obispo.
