Dolores Metkus Obituary

Dolores Metkus, 82, passed away Sunday at her home in Millbrae, Calif..
Born in Mahanoy City, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Petronella Marchalonis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Metkus; and siblings, Edward, Theresa and Louise Marchalonis.
She and her husband and family lived in Northridge and La Quinta for many years. They relocated to the Bay Area ten years ago to be near their daughter.
Surviving are a daughter, Andrea Metkus, M.D., and her partner, Linda Stoick; two grandchildren, Troy and Ava; nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Magnolia of Millbrae. Private committal services will be held Wednesday at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma. Arrangements are by Chapel of the Highlands, Millgrae.
