Paul Moss Ibsen, age 53, of Shelton, entered on to his eternal rest on Tuesday February 18, 2014 in Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by his loving family, after a brief illness

Paul was born in New Haven on July 28, 1960, son of Nancy (Moss) Ibsen, and the late Soren C Ibsen Sr, and was a lifelong Shelton resident

Paul graduated from Shelton High School Class of 1978 and UCONN class of 1982 where he earned his degrees in electrical engineering and computer science He went on to a 30 year career as a systems engineer and inertial navigation and motion compensation expert at Norden Systems, Northrup Grumman While working at Norden he volunteered as a Big Brother He also taught engineering at BEI in Fairfield

Paul enjoyed playing bridge and games that challenged his mind At his church, Paul was the youngest deacon to serve as the chairman of the Board of Deacon's and was a Trustee of his church

Besides his mother he is survived by his children, Erik Moss Ibsen, (Jylian), John Charles Ibsen and Kristianna Elise Ibsen, their mother Jocelyn J Ibsen, his brother Soren C Ibsen, Jr, (Lynn), his sister Kristin Ibsen Watson (Richard), his nephew Soren C Ibsen, III, his nieces Carrie Watson, and Chelsea Ibsen, his former spouse and best friend, Lisa Parry Ibsen and her children Zachary, Hannah, Rebecca and Benjamin Elflein

Paul's memorial service was held on Saturday March 15, 2014 at 2:00PM in the United Congregational Church of Bridgeport, 877 Park Ave Bridgeport CT 06604
