I practically lived at the Scotto home, living just a few doors away and being friends with Elaine's sister from about the time we could walk. Elaine was such a strong female role model. A tall woman, with hair like Cher's, a great intellect, a quick and amazing wit, I think her most wonderful characteristic was the deep love she held for her family. I am so saddened by her passing and my heart goes out to every family member and friend who will certainly miss her. God bless her soul.

Elaine was my first and very best friend. We met in seventh grade at Sts. Simon & Jude Elementary School. We did everything together. We planned our outfits, we shopped for groceries for our folks, we shared meals. Most of all, we shared a lifelong friendship lasting 51 years. I will miss my dear friend and offer my condolences to the family who was and has always been my second family as well. With love, Roseann & Tom Bozzone
