Beth and all the Schmidt Family, please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of Joe. I've known him since we were kids. Joe's been a great example of a Christian gentleman. We will remember him in our prayers. I'm so glad I was able to visit him and pray with him before he passed. I was surprised he was able to make the Sign of the Cross, then smile when I told him so many people were praying for him.

One of the requirements to being a Knight of Columbus is that you have to be a Catholic gentleman......and Joe was the perfect example of that.
The Knights of Council 3914 mourn the loss of a friend and brother.
My sympathies go out to Beth and the family at this time of great sadness.
