Pauline E. Singleton

Pauline E. Singleton of East Bridgewater died at her home after a long illness on October 8, 2017 at the age of 86. Born in Whitman, Pauline was the wife of the late Robert W. Singleton, mother of Shirley Singleton of Essex, Robert Singleton of East Bridgewater, Scott Singleton of Whitman, grandmother of Matthew and Caroline Singleton and sister of Roland Adams of Rochester. Pauline led a full and interesting life; growing up on a farm in Whitman, marrying her high school sweetheart Bob and building their own home, launching her own home tailoring business, working at the East Bridgewater Town Hall, and actively participating in the Order of the Eastern Star. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street, (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle), Whitman, followed by a funeral service at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel on Monday, November 13, at 10 a.m. Donations in honor of Pauline may be made to Old Colony Hospice, www.oldcolonyhospice.org, 321 Manley Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379.
