Robert Deitz Obituary
CHESNEE, SC-- Robert Wesley Deitz, 70, husband of Iris Warner Deitz of 2370 Highway 11 West, died Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at his residence.
Born April 14, 1941, in Bryson City, NC, he was a son of the late Charles Oliver Deitz and Rosa Louise Jenkins Deitz of Asheville, NC.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are sons, Robert W. Deitz, Jr. of Florida, Lee Deitz of Chesnee, Mitch Roberts of Black Mountain, NC, Richard, Randall, David, Daniel and Frank Ondrusek all of Ohio; daughters, Theresa Flowers of Asheville, Fran Deitz of Spartanburg, Tonya Ramsey of Pennsylvania, Michelle Deitz of Chesnee, and Desiree Deitz of Chesnee; brothers, Kelton and Junior Deitz of Asheville; 19 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He also has other children throughout the Carolinas. He was well loved.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family will be at the residence.

I will miss you Dad!! There was never a dull moment in my life or any of our lives!! I will always remember being your tomboy and working on cars with you and going fishing. You always told me that I needed to get my life together, and I finally am. I am glad that you forgave me for everything that I did wrong. I'm so thankful that you and Mom adopted me and Michelle, because you chose us among the thousands of other kids, and for that I am grateful. You were the father that I always wanted. You taught me a lot of things. You also made me laugh like no tomorrow. And I'm glad you scared some of those guys I dated away. I'm also glad you got to meet Ira. He is so wonderful, and I know that you are proud of me. I love you Daddy!! I will always listen out for your advice!!

May you rest in peace forever now. You were always a goofy uncle! Always telling stories, and joking, and laughing... most of the time at us! Funny memories for sure.
