Vasiliki Koutsovitis Obituary
Vasiliki Koutsovitis, 82, passed on November 11, 2014. Vasiliki also known by friends as "Bessie" and "Vasso" was born in Magoula, Sparta (Greece) on August 5, 1932. She was married to her husband Steve for 56 years. Vasso and her husband are longtime residents of Stamford and were active members of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation. She is also survived by her son Christopher. Vasso will always be remembered by her husband, son, family and friends as a vibrant woman who loved to laugh, a loving wife and mother who always put family and faith first and a beloved sister and aunt who always brought her family together. Relatives and friends may call at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer Street, Stamford, CT on Thursday November 13, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday November 14 at 10:00 AM at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation on 1230 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, CT . I was heartbroken to hear of my Godmother's passing. Having relocated from CT to NJ and now Nevada, we had sadly lost touch but we were blessed to have her at our wedding 20 years ago.
