I'm sorry to hear that Dick has passed away. He was working on restoring a Sabel Mark III sports racer that I had built in the early '70s. I had the opportunity to meet him and Suzanne when he stopped at our house here in Tucson to pick up the car. It was a pleasure to meet them both. My wife Joline and I send our condolences to Suzanne and his family.

You have been a wonderful friend over the years. I am glad we at least got to trade texts in your final days.
I love you Dick
My prayers go out to Dennis, kirk, and Lisa and Suzanne who I never had the pleasure of meeting but heard such nice things.

I only met Richard when I came over to see my brother. What a great guy, I saw his green truck that he had renovated and an amazing picture of a heron in his house. He was lovely and made a very warm impression with me. Sending my condolences from the UK.

I am so sorry for your loss Lisa,Dennis, and Kirk. One of my fond memories of your Dad was when he would run around the our practice field at the American legion. He was always in great shape and an inspiration to us kids!

I did not know Richard, but Suzanne and I were together many years in school, plus I'm a Trappe girl myself, born and raised. There have been many losses recently affecting my family and the families I am friends with. My heart breaks for Suzanne's sudden loss and the emptiness that Richard's family will face. Every moment on earth with our loved ones is so precious and I pray that this family and my friend, Suzanne, will find support from each other as they face another of life's sudden turns.

He was one of a kind. His joy and kind heart made him a friend to all. We can all learn from his wonderful demeanor which he shared so generously. So glad we were able to connect with him and Suzanne last winter on their trip to Florida.
May his soul Rest In Peace ☮
