Cao Stephens Obituary

Cao Tho Lan Stephens 1943 - 2008 Cao Tho Lan Stephens, 65, of Austin, passed away November 27, 2008, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Cao was born January 12, 1943 in Tran- Thanh-Can Quay South Vietnam to Cao-Tuan-Hung and Hua- Que-Trang. Cao was an established Austin business woman as the owner and proprietor of Townhouse Liquor for many years. She was an independent soul, who cherished her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, cooking, and caring for her neighbors who will always be grateful for her kindness. Cao is preceded on death by her parents and her loving husband, James T. Stephens of 36 years who passed away in 2005. She is survived by her son; Samuel G Stephens and wife, Tracy; daughter Hoa Stephens and son-in-law, Albert Clark; her grandson, James Tate Stephens; and her favorite cat, Tinker as well as numerous special family members and friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 2, 2008, from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., with Graveside Services to follow at Austin Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m.
