Jose RODRIGUEZ Obituary
Age 69 of Del Valle passed away on July 1, 2016. He fought a long battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents; Francisco and Leina Rodriguez in laws; Pedro and Matilde Rodriguez sister; Lenora Gonzales and son-in-law; Kevin Trautman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Lena Rodriguez his children; Lupe and Rocky Ruedas Deanna Rodriguez Trautman and fiance Robert Mendez Joseph "JoJo" and Stephanie Rodriguez 8 grandchildren; Jacob and wife Jessica, Adam, Angela Ruedas, Tiffany, Stephanie and Gabrianna " Gabi" Trautman, Joseph and Jonathan Rodriguez 3 Great Grand Daughters; Alexis, Evelynn and Devin. Brothers; Leon, Frank and Jesus Rodriguez, Sisters; Gloria Garza, Mary Rodriguez and Janie Rivera numerous nephews, nieces and family members.
He fought the illness to the very end, wanting as much time as possible with his family and loved ones. He was a loving Husband, devoted Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather and Loyal Friend. He was dedicated to his work and helping others.
A visitation will be held from 10am-8pm on Wednesday July 6, 2016 with Rosary at 7:00pm at Austin-Peel and Son Funeral Chapel, 607 East Anderson Lane Austin, TX. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday July 7, 2016 at the Funeral Home.
Family would like to extend a sincere Thank You to each of the Nurses and Staff at the Temple VA "Heros Haven" that provided loving and exceptional care.
