Ray Grunt Obituary

Ray Grunt Ray Grunt, 87 passed away December 26, 2007. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Leander had been Ray's home for the passed 24 years. Everyone who made Ray's acquaintance made a friend. Truly a remarkable person in so many ways, a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Grunt, father Joseph Grunt and son in law, Edward Dean Schmidt. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 66 years, Verna Grunt, daughter Carol S. Schmidt, grandsons Dean A. Schmidt and wife Lana Schmidt, Doyle G. Schmidt and wife Mindy Schmidt and the gift of seven great-grandchildren all of Leander, Texas. The family would like to express a heartfelt thanks to all who have helped during this difficult time. A special thank you to Aseracare Hospice in all of their attention to Ray and his family. Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2007, at Beck Funeral Home in Cedar Park, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 31, 2007 at Grace Episcopal Church in Georgetown, Texas.
