Robert Foxworth Obituary

Robert Carl Foxworth Robert Foxworth was born on September 17, 1932 in Kansas City, Missouri, to C.O. Foxworth and Ruth Foxworth and died on July 8, 2011 at the age of 78 in Round Rock, Texas. Bob is survived by his wife Dorothy; son Neal Foxworth of Round Rock, Texas, grandson Hunter Foxworth, sister Carolyn Zalme of Forest Grove, Oregon, brother, Paul Foxworth of Austin, Texas, sister Nancy Wehr and husband Don of Leander, Texas, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Elaine Foxworth. Bob was unique and feisty and you never knew what he might say or do, but he always showed everyone around him how to live a life of dignity and character. He had a quiet confidence in the Lord and his faith in God was genuine. Bob performed his duty to our country with the U.S. Army in the Korean War in the early 1950's. He began his career with various jobs and retired after 25 years at the U.S. Postal Service in Round Rock, Texas. He was a longtime active and faithful member at Palm Valley Lutheran Church in Round Rock. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, July 11, 2011 at Beck Funeral Home, 15709 Ranch Road 620, Austin, TX. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Palm Valley Lutheran Church, 2500 East Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock, TX. Interment will immediately follow at Palm Valley Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Palm Valley Lutheran Church.

Dorothy and Neal, I'm so sorry i am unable to be there with all of you and the family. As you know, Bob and I had a wonderful phone visit on the 5th. That gives me comfort since I can't be there. May you feel the Lord's comfort at this time and in the future. Love, Carolyn
