Lois Cross Obituary

Lois Ann Butler Cross, 73, of Hollywood Florida went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the 29th of April 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Lois Cross was born in Scituate Massachusetts on November 21, 1940. Lois was a devout Catholic and a Eucharistic minister who administered to the sick. She spent her time advocating for the poor across the country and world. She was involved in disaster relief efforts worldwide such as the Haiti earthquake. She was co-director of the Cosac Foundation/Homeless Voice and wrote articles for the Homeless Voice newspaper. She enjoyed gardening, birds, butterflies, and loving her grand and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Gary E. Cross. She is survived by her beloved children, Michael Cross and his wife Maria, Cathy Yeates-Krzeminski, Diane Davis and her husband Chris, her grand children, Michelle Yeates, Leah England, William Christopher "C.W." Yeates, Kimberly Yeates, Brian Davis, and John Krzeminski II, and her great grandchildren, Treyson England, Caden England, and James Fritz.
