Andy Cerio, Jr. June 12, 2022 Andy Cerio, Jr., 87, passed away on Sunday, June 12th. He was the son of Andy Cerio and Valeria (Misch) Cerio of Syracuse, NY. He was a lifelong resident of the Syracuse area. He retired from Lamson, Inc. and worked part-time as a bartender at James Street Lanes. He participated in golfing and bowling leagues and enjoyed many sports. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed taking his many children and grandchildren out for ice cream - often getting a second cone and enjoying life to its fullest. He is survived by his wife, Marie (Adams) Cerio; his children, Debbie Kelleher, Patricia Ann Vickers, Andrew (Judy) Cerio, Andrea Cerio, and Barbara Ann Cerio; Marie's children: Lorinda (Carl) Leshock, and Paul Murphy; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grand children, and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his sister, Rosemarie (Al) Auer; son-in-law Ronald Vickers; and one grandchild. Calling hours are 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22nd at Farone & Son Funeral Home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse. A memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, June 23rd, 10 a.m. at St. Margaret's Church, 200 Roxboro Road, Mattydale, NY with burial in Assumption Cemetery.
