Jessie Griffin Obituary
Jessie Griffin, 65, a Havana native, passed unexpectedly in Tallahassee on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2012. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at New Birth Tabernacle of Praise, 1200 Harlem St., Tallahassee, FL, with burial at Southside Cemetery. Viewing is 2-7 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE 850-942-1950. A professional auto detailer, Mr. Griffin loved the game of basketball which he played in high school.
Holding precious memories close to their hearts are his wife, Delores Taylor Griffin; daughters, Jessica G. (Preston) Smith, Cantrell Griffin, Shawndakay Griffin and Carlisha Cooper; sons, Timothy, Shawn, Jovan and Vinson Griffin; stepsons, Gregory Turner and Andre Taylor; sister, Ella Griffin; brothers, Roy, Rudolph, Bill "L.C.", Robert (Gloria) Griffin and Freddie (Valerie) Griffin; 33 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
