John Edward Aide

AIDE, John Edward 82, of Tarpon Springs, passed away April 27, 2012. He was born in Chamberlain, SD and came to Tarpon Springs in 1942 from Clear-water. He graduated from Tarpon Springs High School in 1948 and from the University of Florida in 1952. He was the owner and operator of the Tarpon Springs Coca-Cola Bottling Company for 40 years. He belonged to the Jaycees and the Elks Club and devoted much of his life to the Boy Scouts, serving on both the local council and the Southeast Region boards. He was preceded in death by his wife MaryAnn. He is survived by two children, David (Pam) Aide and Teresa Aide Coleman; two sisters, Joan (Odge) Cretekos and Shirley Weiskopf; 6 grand-children. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the West Central Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America, www.wcfcbsa.org. Visitation 6-8, Sunday, April 29 at Vinson Funeral Home.
