The greatest comfort is knowing The Lord Jesus Christ has called him home.

Neil Wagoner a/k/a Paw Paw as many of us call him wwas the absolute BEST Sunday School Teacher in the whole wide world! I could not have asked for a better father-in-law, role model and teacher....EVER! Boy do I miss him dearly!! I've already cried so many nights and I'm sure there's many more to come in the next coming days as we lay Paw Paw to rest! Everyone who knows me, knows just how high that pedistal is where I always placed my dad and the only other person in the world who I would place next to him is Paw Paw! Two honest, great, Christian Men who I always admired! Paw Paw we sure do miss you and I thank you for your guidance in leading me to Christ! I'm so honored to be a Wagoner!! Love always and forever,
Lisa Wagoner ❤

Neil was a dedicated public figure for many years. I will cherish his leadership and his support for our state. I continue to tell of his recommendation in the 1980's to double deck the interstate system through Baton Rouge to address traffic as had been done in Texas and other states. He was a mentor and a friend of the construction industry and I had the privilege of serving with him at the Louisiana Good Roads and Transportation Association. My thoughts and prayers are for his family and his memory

My heart breaks for your family. I have the pleasure of knowing the Wagoner family. I've always enjoyed our visits and talk. I've always viewed Mr Neil & Mrs Martha as mentors of marriage, faith & family. Praying for Mrs Martha & all of the family.

Neil was an angel who lived among us. One of the most wonderful Christians I have ever known. He had a calling to teach the Bible, and he obeyed that calling. I am truly blessed to have been a student of his. I give him praise and honor for helping my family towards the gift of salvation many years ago at JBC. Neil, you will be dearly, dearly missed by all of us who love you so much. Your crown must be very heavy with jewels. We grieve, not as others who have no hope. 1st Thessalonians 4:13. Prayers for all of his family and friends.
