Henderson, KY
Hilda Pauline Blaner, age 67, of Henderson, KY, passed away unexpectedly at 2:20AM, Monday, March 19, 2018 at her home.
Hilda had so many admirable qualities. She was the friendliest, most giving, caring and compassionate person you could ever meet. Not a baby or a dog could get near her that she did not snuggle them up. Hilda had two dogs of her own, Sunny and Petey, which she also snuggled and spoiled. She was an awesome grandmother. Hilda worked as an administrative assistant at several businesses in Henderson. She and her husband Terry's dream in life was to own their own computer company, which they have operated for over 20 years. Hilda's siblings and their spouses were very close to her and she held them close to her heart. Her children and grandchildren were her world and she gave of herself unselfishly to them all.
Hilda was preceded in death by her parents, William "Goebel" and Mary Phillips. Siblings: Bobby Phillips, Dorothy Adams, Earl Phillips and Frank Phillips.
Survivors include:
Husband of 38 years: Terry Blaner, of Henderson, KY
3 Daughters: Lyndsey Mitchell and her husband Joshua, of Henderson, KY
Alican "Ali" Kidd and her husband David, of Louisville, KY
Erica Jones, of Henderson, KY
Sister: Lois Shiver, of Ellaville, GA
2 Brothers: Jimmie Phillips, of Nortonville, KY
William G. "Bill" Phillips and his wife Janet, of Provo, KY
10 Grandchildren: Alex Bonnell, Jessica Collier, Bradley Weimer, Sierra Kidd, Eli Kidd, Annie Kidd, Jordan Mitchell, Ezra Kidd, Cora Kidd and Jaxson Mitchell.
1 Great Grandson: Xzayvier Collier
Nieces and Nephews
Relatives and friends are invited to Hilda's Life Celebration from 4:00-8:00PMThursday, March 22, 2018 and again on Friday starting at 12:00 Noon at Tapp Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: Henderson County Humane Society or the American Heart Association.

This was my grandmother I called her Grammy and I love and miss her dearly ! She took a piece of me when she left us I will always cherish the times we had together she was the best things haven't been the same since she passed away , I still miss her laugh ,smile , love , hugs , and her cooking anybody that knows she was the best cook , anyways I love and miss you Grammy
