Patsy Childress Obituary

Patsy Childress

Patsy Childress, age 70 of Hopkinsville, KY, died on Thursday at 10:05 a.m., at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, TN following a short illness.

She is survived by two sons, Chris Childress of Trenton, KY and Micky Childress of Paducah, KY; three daughters, Pam Dunbar of Caldwell County, KY, Penny Childress of Princeton, KY and Melissa Hudson of Hopkinsville, KY; eight grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; six brothers, Ronnie Anderson of Hobart, IN, Terry Anderson of Hobart, IN, Jimmy Anderson of Newbern, TN, Timmy Anderson of Newbern, IN, Dennis Anderson of Newbern, TN and Earl Anderson of Dyersburg, TN; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Gary Childress; her parents, Billy and Dorothy James Anderson, and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Childress was a retired stockclerk for Wal Mart and a member of Living Hope Baptist Church in Hopkinsville.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 6th from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Sunday, April 7th from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, April 7th at 2:30 p.m., at Eddy Creek Church Cemetery, with Rev. Darrell Crawford officiating.
