The world is a little lesser place without my friend Roscoe. An extraordinarily generous, kind, and decent human being. Always quick with the smile and even quicker with a comeback. So many times Roscoe invited me onto the announcer's stand at Oshkosh to do photography and to spend time with the gang. He made me feel welcome. It was a honor to take the official announcer's photo for so many years. I will miss you buddy but I can hear the heavens now, what an audience you have from now on!

I nicknamed Roscoe, Mr. Aviation the day I met him, some 12 years ago. His love of airplanes and his history in the aviation industry was legendary. If there was someone in aviation that was somebody, Roscoe knew them, and they knew Roscoe. Roscoe was a larger than life Gentleman, with a capital G and had nothing but good to say about every name that came out of his mouth, He truly came from the gentleman mold that very few people have come from.
My sincere condolences go out to his wife Jinny and his children and grand children. Aviation will not be the same without him.

Roscoe was chief pilot VPS when I met him. I married into the airline world...he was so nice to me and helped me navigate my way through this strange and exciting new world. He took me on my first sim ride..all 6 hours in Atl..
