I just ran across this post of the passing of Mr. Kuhn. I was a student of his at Martin Road school and have many fond memories of him. I met him once again just before they tore down the school and had a picture taken of us together. May He Rest In Heavenly Peace.

I was blessed twice to have Mr Kuhn as a teacher ,he was my 4th grade teacher at Martin Road School and then My drivers ed teacher in high school.Such a wonder man RIP.

I have often thougth of Mr. Kuhn since graduating from HPHS in 1967. He was a great teacher. I believe he is one of the reasons that I became a teacher. We were lucky to have known him. He will continue to be remembered.

Have great memories of Mr. Kuhn. Enjoyed his class and had the utmost respect for him. Always smiling and seemed to really enjoy teaching. He often talked about his trips to Alaska.

I never had Mr. Kuhn as a teacher but everyone at Hazel Park High School knew him. It would be fair to say that so did everyone in the city. He was a dedicated teacher, a true mentor to students, a generous man with his time and money and a friend to many. I believe he was my mother's driving instructor and encouraged her everyday. Rest well, Mr. Kuhn. Your life touched so many of us and we are better people because of you.

He really was one of those teachers that was born to teach. I don't think there is a student from HPHS (whether they had him as a teacher or not) that didn't know who Mr. Kuhn was. He left a lasting impression on all of us for many different reasons.

Mr. Kuhn was a wonderful person and a great teacher. He help many of the students out, when they needed it at HPHS. Great drivers training teacher also. Many times we got back late for 5th hour class, as time went by fast.

Mr. Kuhn was ONE of my favorite teachers at Hazel Park High School. I remember him trying to teach everyone to read the stock market pages, showing us how to read and pick stock. I actually still use this information sometimes.

Mr. Kuhn was my science teacher years and years ago. He was a gentle man and very dedicated to education. We could use more educators like him. I'm glad to read he had a full life after retirement.
