Dear Everett Phillips family,
Everett and I became close friends as we served together on the Grosvenor House Board. His quick mind always kept me on track. Both of us talked of tales and exrperiences in the steel industry so had alot in common. We laughed a lot and had many great discussions.Foremost in his mind was his devoted love for his family. Nancy,I feel I know you much more than just the few times we met You were constantly on his mind.He had such a big heart, and always thought of others. His honestry and integrity were beyond question. He held himself to a high standard and expected others to do the same.I am so fortunate to have known Everett.
His life has left a lasting imprint on so many, many people.
My prays and sorrow reach out to you.

Dear Nancy, Dana, and Liz,
Marilyn and I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to you. Although we have lost touch over the years we do think of you and ask about you when we talk to people from Lakes. We remember fondly the times that we spent with your family both in Waterford and up north. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
Love,
Diane & Marilyn

To Everett's Family
Last May,my family bought the apt. in Delray Beach right below the Phillips's apt. at the Grosvenor House. We only use it for extended weekends a few times a year and the rest of the time our families and friends use the apt. Since Everett only uses it a few times a year, as well, we thought it could very likely happen that we might never be there at the same time and never meet. Instead we overlapped last winter and shared wine in his apt. one night and a dinner in our apt. the next. We also emailed with each other and were doing so over the 4th of July weekend. This spring he happened to be there the same time my sister and family were there and they spent a lot of time together as well. We all felt great affection for him and extend our condolences to you all. Karen if you let us know your email or phone, we would love to meet you in Delray Beach or if there is a memorial there, we would love to be notified. He loved you all so much and spoke constantly of you. Nina DeMartini-Day 917 886 8707 [email protected]
