My first job as a geologist was with Columbia Iron Mining in Cedar City where Bob was also a geologist. He became a friend who was always helpful and an influence to my career. I know Bob will be missed. he was a very good man who I will always fondly remember.

I have many fond memories of spending summers with Bob Rowley and the Rowley family. Hunting, fishing, pick nicking and hiking throughout the beautiful mountains and fields of Parowan. My father, Ray Wiltsey and my mother Betty Burton spent many times with the Rowleys and loved every minute. I especially like the times my father and Bob Rowley would tell stories of their youth growing up in Parowan, Utah. I especially cherish the appreciation for Jazz music that i received after spending time listening to records in his home.
