I was SO sad to see the report of Mr. Golding's passing on WIS news this evening, but what a nice tribute! I first met him as a graduate audiology student at the VA in the late 70s. He was one of my first hearing aid fittings! I watched him evolve into the Worlds Greatest Gamecock Fan when he and his lovely wife came to the clinic over the years dressed from head to toe in Garnet and Black. He always made us smile and was always so positive. I am a better person to have known him. Thoughts and prayers for the family during this difficult time.

Bill, you are forever a legend to the Carolina family. The police officers who work the games lost a great friend and the crowd will never be as loud without your cheers.
