I had criss crossed across the country to find what I considered a great friend. Second day in Marysville I walked across the front dock where Thomas worked. I was puffing on a cigar and I heard a booming voice call out, "those cigars sure smell good, got an extra?" I was taken aback, being new and all on the job there. I didn't know this guy from Adam. I reached into my pocket and handed Thomas a cigar, and got a "that's mighty nice of you". Tom, I was to find out, was one of the most sincerest and loyal friends one could have. We never mixed business with pleasure, he being union and I management. This, in my opinion, cemented or relationship even further. Cannot say I miss him every day, but I do think of him quite often. He was a great individual, full of life and sayings.

I have great memories of Tom. He was a great man and I will miss him dearly! We always had a good laugh. And knowing every time I called the house he was guaranteed to pick up the line. He always made me smile and always had great advice to give as well as a big smile. He uplifted my spirits every time I talked of him or to him. We will cherish the memories of him. He sure loved lil Thomas and lil Thomas sure loved him. I promise that his love will pass on to the grand baby. I loved Tom as I love my own dad. And Joan you are a pure blessing. We will get through this I promise. Love you all.

Aunt Joan,
I was at a total loss for words when my Mother told me about Uncle Tom.
My heart goes out to you & Tim.
I truly enjoyed our visit last year. Seeing him again made my trip brighter...he was such a kind and gentle man. From my childhood memories until now I will always hold a special place in my heart for him!
He will be missed by all who had the privilege to know or meet him.
As you know you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Sorry I cant be there....but please know that I am here for you if you need anything.
Love

Tom had a personality that was up front, and direct to the point. He never met a stranger, and was the first person to make a new guy feel comfortable in the work environment. Likable and lovable as a man could be in a work place. Never ever heard him say anything bad about anyone, and never ever heard anyone say anything bad about him. He was a good, clean, wholesome, outstanding, beyond reproach family man. He was a community leader, and loyal Union member. And was an excellent worker for the Chrysler Cooperation. An expert in hazardous material handling, and trained in first aid. A safe and experienced forklift driver. He carried an attitude like no other, and could bring a smile to your face in a matter of seconds. I am proud to have known Mr. Morrison. My deepest sympathy to the wife and family of Mr.Thomas H. Morrison. He will be missed by all.
