Heidi Anne Bruce

Heidi Anne Bruce, 67, of Westerly, passed away at Westerly Hospital on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born in Middletown, CT, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Standish) Bruce.
Heidi was a well known and loved employee of Foxwoods Casino for over 25 years, before her retirement. She dedicated her life to her family and was incredibly generous and self-sacrificing.
A lifelong lover of all things beautiful and artistic, she enjoyed flying, sailing, painting, real estate, history, animals and taking care of others.
Heidi is survived by her children, Kelsey Connell, Dexter Echard and Stephanie Echard-Manfredi (Mick). She also leaves behind her companion Michael Severns; brothers, Charles (Sharon) and Rory (Tina) Bruce; sister Elizabeth (Jim) Hunt; as well as 8 grandchildren and 22 nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Heidi was also predeceased by her brother Scott Bruce.
Visiting hours will be held at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly on Thursday, Jan. 4th from 5pm – 7pm. A Celebration of Life will take place at Christ Church, 7 Elm St., Westerly on Friday, Jan. 5th at 11am, followed by the internment of ashes in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Cobblestone Lane, Westerly.
